Forest Highlands premier men’s event of the season is one you don’t want to miss! Invite a friend to experience everything FH has to offer over a great 4 days in September. Plenty of golf, good food and camaraderie is always guaranteed during Highlander week.
Wednesday: Practice rounds (May be made two weeks in advance for participants), Canyon Course will be a shotgun start & the Meadow Course will be tee times, registration and optional flight shootout (Canyon), cocktail party and pari-mutuel wagering (Meadow)
Thursday: Canyon & Meadow Courses
Friday: Canyon & Meadow Courses
Saturday: Canyon & Meadow Courses; Championship Shootout (Meadow)
SIGN-UPS: will be accepted from June 1st at 7:00am to June 7th at 11:59pm.
Lottery will be drawn at 12:00pm on June 8th
FORMAT: Net Four-Ball Match Play. (7) nine hole matches, followed by shoot-out of flight winners and wild card teams to determine overall champion.
ELIGIBILITY: Members must have an established Forest Highlands Handicap. Children under the membership (24 years of age and under) are not eligible to compete. Amateurs only.
FIELD: 192 Players (96 teams of 2)
FLIGHTING: Based on combined team handicap.
ENTRY FEE: $1,700 per team. Entry into this event includes Wednesday practice round, optional shootout, stag cocktail party, heavy hors d’oeuvres, 7-nine-hole matches, cart fees, dinner Thursday, breakfast and lunch Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as snacks and drinks on the golf course.
HANDICAPS: There is a maximum 10 stroke differential between partners for this event. September 1, 2022 handicap index will be used for this event.
Handicaps will be at 90% as recommended by the U.S.G.A. for this format.
PRIZES: Tee Favors, shootout payout, pari-mutuel and day money payout, golf shop credit and awards to low finishers.
