Raised in a golfing family in Lincoln, Nebraska I have always had a strong interest in the game. I spent my youth caddying for my father in PGA Tour events in the summer and working at our family-owned golf course. Before becoming a club professional my passion started with playing and teaching; I earned 3 high school Team State Championship titles and have played competitive golf ever since. I spent countless hours at a teaching academy learning from a few of the best instructors in Nebraska. I graduated from the University of Nebraska earning a business degree majoring in Professional Golf Management.
This is my 10th season at Forest Highlands where my role as an instructor is to assist in Men’s, Ladies’ and Junior clinics as well as teach a handful of private lessons per week. As an instructor my goal is to set goals with the student so that we are working together to achieve their desired results. I believe there are a few fundamentals of the swing that everybody must learn to improve, but also each individual has their own unique golf swing based on their physical makeup. I strive to communicate in a manner that is easy to understand in order to find a simple way for the student to improve and enjoy the game.
