Howard Nute

Howard is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold several specialty equipment rental companies over his 40-year rental career. His latest sale occurred over 3 years ago allowing him to transition through the acquisition process to full retirement in November of 2022.

Howard has served in various roles in the 501c3 world and recent board activity includes the following:

  • SEEDS for Autism- A Phoenix-based “learning to earning” organization that helps young adults on the spectrum learn real-world skills to enter the private employment world.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central AZ- Multiple board roles including helping build out their donation center enterprise that contributes significantly to the annual budget. Recently was instrumental in finding them a commercial property and retrofitting it with a significant TI to become their “forever” home at a greatly reduced monthly expense over rental space.
  • Troop 41 Phoenix AZ- A ten-year run as scout leader where I took pride in putting together outdoor adventure trips outside the norm of what a typical troop could do.

Howard has been on the Foundation Board for 2 years.
