After ten years of coaching intense corporate executives, she now finds her client’s goals shifting from “performance and achievement” to “transition and fulfillment.” The pandemic caused many leaders to pause and pivot, taking time to ask themselves bigger questions. This is an ideal match for Katie’s gift in working with others to discover their path, restore healthy relationships, and find alignment among their work, their heart, and their health. Her commitment is to call forth and support the inner capital of our business and community leaders today—in hopes they will find the solutions our companies and our communities need for tomorrow.
Grounded in real-world experience, Katie has worked as a director of publicly traded companies since 1998. Currently, she serves on the audit committee of a Fortune 500 company in the IT services sector, Insight Enterprises, Inc. (NSIT). She has chaired the board of Vitalant, a provider of blood products and biotherapies, and now serves on the finance and governance committees. Katie chaired the board of Creative Testing Solutions, a joint venture formed by leading laboratory testing companies in the U.S. and has also served on numerous nonprofit boards and the Bank of Arizona.
Katie has served as the President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and a gubernatorial appointment as the Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery. She spent ten years with MicroAge, Inc. (a Fortune 500 IT distribution company) as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. She began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a CPA, fresh out of the University of Colorado. Married and a mother of four, she enjoys the Sonoran Desert all winter in Phoenix and the cool pine forests of Flagstaff all summer long.
