Walter has been working in the renewable energy industry for the past 17 years and in real estate development for over 25 years. Currently, he works as the Senior Vice President – Renewable Energy at Bank 34. Bank 34 provides loan products for renewable energy developers and small business owners to secure construction, equipment and term loans for renewable energy projects.
Prior to Bank 34, he worked as Executive Vice President at AVANA Capital as well as in various Business Development and Finance roles for both SunPower and SolarCity (Tesla). Moreover, he co-authored and won a $7M Department of Energy grant focused on reducing peak demand through solar, energy efficiency, demand response and battery storage for a 200-home community in Nevada.
